Cathy Burt presented some history and background of the Seminole Indians. Seminole Piecing is the technique used to add color and distinction to their garments. Cathy demonstrated how using the same color and shape you can achieve variations of the piecing.

Seminole patchwork is made by piecing bright colored fabrics into strips or horizontal bands. Cathy showed some samples of how same colors and techiques have very distinct appearances depending how they are pieced together.
