RVAG MEETING 10/28/13 Notes
CALL TO ORDER:
Rheta S. called the meeting to order with 23 members present and 2 guests: Jane Timm has an organic farm in Alma WI, and is open to any of the arts as well as hoping to return to quilting. Chris Daily operates a new quilter’s retreat in Downsville, Wi and has her own business, Dye Candy Fabrics. We hope they will be interested in joining our guild in the future.

APPROVE MINUTES FROM LAST MEETING:
Motion made and passed for approval of November minutes
Barb T. – collected two dozen lap robes and 12 shawls and will deliver them to the Health Care Center
Sally N. – Sally handed out sign-up sheets for the boutique which will be November, 15, 16, & 17.
Volunteer working shifts will be 9 to1 and 1 to 5 on Friday and Saturday and 9 to 12 and 12 to 3 on Sunday.
Set up will be 3:00 on Thursday the 14th.
Take down will be 2 to 3 on Sunday the 17th.
Signs are being put up around town.
The cash drawer will be funded with $150 from the treasurer to be refunded after boutique.
All checks must be made out to cash.
All participants are required to have an inventory sheet with their item, price, and identifier.
A removable tag must be on items which includes the price and identifier.
Pricing must be in twenty-five cent increments, (no pennies to deal with).
Rheta S. – Two proposed new positions, Greeter and Marketing, were introduced. After much discussion, a motion was made to double up on positions. The vice president position will also be responsible for greeting new members and compiling an information packet for new members. The Program Director position will also be responsible for marketing the guild and guild programs. The motion was passed.
