There were 20 members present.
No new members and no visitors were present.

Email list – a member list was sent to members in May. If you haven’t already, please report any corrections to me and let me know if you are not receiving minutes.
It was suggested that the minutes be on the RVAG website. I contacted Pat Boesel, our webmaster, and she will look in to the second phase of the website which will be for “members only” for the minutes.
Logo – a sketch of the new RVAG logo was passed around. There was one entry at last month’s meeting and it was approved.
Community project – shawls and blankets for the health care center should be brought in when you are notified that we have enough for delivery.
Irene Schultz will work on setting up a class with Terry Dennis on copper enameling. It will be a two hour class for $20 at 1:00 or 2:00 on a Wednesday in September.
Rheta asked if anyone knew of any businesses or links that could be added to the RVAG website, to let Pat B. know.
The Fall Boutique is held the third Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in November. Jan K. put November 14, 15, 16, 17 on her calendar as those dates were open at the coffee shop for this year.
Our December meeting date will be changed to December 16th due to the Christmas holiday. Thanksgiving will not interfere with our regular November date.
Evonne K. received suggestions that RVAG spruce up and plant flowers in the garden on the west side of the coffee shop in appreciation for all Jan and Jim do for us. Jan indicated she has plans for this area and asked that the subject be tabled.

Barb T. table runner, pin cushion, water color painting

Keep up on what’s happening and visit our website “>www.rivervalleyartsguild.org and interact with our facebook page, River Valley Arts Guild
A motion was made and seconded to adjourn the meeting.
The program “What to wear and what to sew for the middle ages” was put on by our own talented, Rheta S. It was interesting, enlightening, and stirred interests. Irene S. passed around a sheet to see how if there was enough interest for Rheta to have a class. Maybe there will be a style show in RVAG’s future!!
Next month’s program will be on making tooth brush rugs.
Respectfully submitted by:
