The guesthouse, “The Boathouse”, has a boat as it’s foundation!
This amazing garden is filled with eclectic beauty everywhere you look. The peaceful sounds of the waves upon the shores of the Mississippi River as well as the soft sound of the metal chimes add to the beauty of this garden as you stroll the garden filled with beautiful plants and hidden treasures… a mermaid, serpent and dragon along with toads, frogs, fish. Art made from hand thrown clay sprinkles the gardens both close to the ground with multi-colored mushrooms, glass flowers, and fairy houses as well as stunning rainbow towers, sculptures and even a pair of “Harry Potter” wooden chairs that reach to the sky. Arts of many media: clay, metal and iron, cement, painted are all tastefully positioned in the gardens as well as chandeliers, mirrors, prisms, and lots of things that shine and shimmer. This Frontenac garden is the perfect place to be WOW-ed!
