SHAWLS & LAP QUILTS FOR WABASHA HEALTH CARE CENTER
Members decided at the June meeting that we would create shawls and lap quilts for the Wabasha Health Center.  Shawls should be 18″ wide by 50-54″ long.  Can  be knit or crocheted.  They also can be made with one layer of fleece just cut to size.    The Lap quilts  should be 36″ wide by 42″ long.  They can be made like a quilt: cotton fabric/batting/flannel backing and tied or quilted.  They also can be made by cutting 2 pieces of fleece 36″X 42″ and sewing edges together.

.
Our goal is 12 shawls and 24 Lap quilts to donate to the Wabasha Health Care Center.
