River Valley Arts Guild
See what we're all about
River Valley Arts Guild is a group of diverse artists and creative individuals living in Minnesota and Wisconsin near the Wabasha and Nelson areas. We serve the community with donations and handcrafted projects. River Valley Arts Guild, is a great group for making new friends, and perhaps trying a new art or craft! Whether you want to learn or have something to teach – you are welcome to join us.
Members have a great variety of talents: knitting, crocheting, sewing, quilting, rug hooking, wool applique’ and wool felting, fabric dying and batik, card art, embroidery, painting, spinning, glass lampwork, and jewelry making to name a few. Members gather in small groups to work on projects together, learning new techniques from others with similar interests. Our members enjoy learning from others as well as sharing their skills.
Meetings are held at the Eagle’s Nest Coffee House in Wabasha, Minnesota on the 4th Monday of each month.
A Social gathering begins at 6:00 P.M. with a meeting that follows at 6:30 P.M. There’s always time for Show & Tell and everyone is invited to bring their latest creations or projects. There is a program each month on a variety of topics. Some are lectures, some are hands on, but all are fun and educational.
Dues are $12 per year.
To share, learn, create, socialize and help our local communities. Specialized sub-groups meet throughout the month to focus on individual arts/crafts such as quilting, wool work, rug hooking, etc. Guests are always welcome to attend an upcoming meeting!
We're excited to hear from you!
